Keep up with current events at the Hobbs Farmers Market through social media

Curtis C. Wynne did an excellent job on the 2015 business article in the Hobbs New Sun, covering the latest news from the Hobbs Farmers Market. Many thanks, Curtis!

Ben claims adults mouths aren't big enough to eat as much as children like himself.

Dennis and Denise (pictured) are our local beekeepers here in Hobbs. It is a privilege to have them as a part of our farmers market.

Customers at the Hobbs Farmers Market have a friendly conversation and learn about Dennis' methods of beekeeping and how his raw honey is harvested.

A crowd gathers around the WiKKiD WiX booth to get a smell of their wonderful scented candles and learn about their handcrafted artisan soaps.

Noel setting up his booth. He makes handcrafted goats milk/shea butter soaps, scented candles, and fragrance sprays.

An overview of the entrance to our market. Items offered by the booths within this photo include refreshments, produce, hand sewn crafts & apparel, salsa, jams & jellies, as well as retail items. Be sure to drop by and check out ALL of our vendors! Not all of our booths would fit into this picture!

Pictured here is Charlotte, a loyal vendor and former Advertising Agent for the Hobbs Farmers Market. Charlotte makes a wide variety of delicious jams & jellies. She has been very successful in her time here, and is a great role model for our other aspiring vendors.

These boys are sure eager to give their family (of Trinity Farms) a helping hand with running their booth at the Hobbs Farmers Market.

Trinity Farms has so much fresh produce that they need two booths to hold it all! Not only are they active vendors at the Hobbs Farmers Market, but also the Lovington Farmers Market and others! Their hard work goes above and beyond what is expected of a typical vendor, and we are grateful for their active presence.

Pictured here is Mrs. New Mexico and the animal rights/rescue group Praying Paws Animal Advocates. Mrs. New Mexico (Amanda Ponce) is an active member of PPAA and holds the Mrs. NM title for 2015. Nonprofit organizations similar to PPAA, as well as community and informational booths, are encouraged to participate as a vendor at HFM, 100% free of charge. Proof of nonprofit certification is only required when currency is exchanged, whether as donations or transactions.

Diane is a one-of-a-kind vendor at the Hobbs Farmers Market. She crafts handmade items from recycled materials such as old newspapers and plastic grocery sacks. Her talents are as astonishing as her products. It is unbelievable that her merchandise was made from recycled materials, since they glow with a never-been-used appearance.

If the Hobbs Farmers' Market banner is up, we are open for business! The market only takes place one morning a week, so be sure to stop if and when you see our sign! Our vendors often sell out quickly, so the market's days & hours of operation are limited.
